About
Transforming how 1B+ users find, organize, and work with AI is my focus as a UX Manager on Google Drive. That means defining new AI-native primitives and interaction models, and driving efforts that shape how Gemini integrates across Google Workspace.
At Google, I led work that secured a 9-figure enterprise contract through Drive Labels, unified the desktop sync strategy for 30M+ users, and sustained 100+ GA launches across mobile, web, and cross-platform experiences over nearly a decade, often as the team's most consistent through-line during periods of significant change.
Over 20+ years, I've launched large-scale systems like Lightning Design System and spent a decade at five startups, including one I co-founded. I did whatever was needed: design, front-end dev, customer support. That scrappiness helped drive three successful acquisitions. My foundation in Industrial Design taught me to think in systems, value craft, and keep people at the center.
Those principles shape how I approach AI. For AI to earn trust, it must be useful, interpretable, and aligned with human intent. Design is how I hold that line: giving users clarity about what AI can access, where answers come from, and why they should trust them.
Outside work, I chase the same thing in different forms: improvised music, board sports, meditation, and whatever book is rewiring my assumptions this month.
